My Nostalgia Playlist [UPDATE 1]

Here's my Nostalgia Playlist. Both Videos & Music from the Late 90s are on the list. Music/Videos which are already crossed out from the list means I already have them. (either it's soft copy or hard copy)

Music:
Jennifer Lopez - If You Had My Love SOFT COPY
Jennifer Lopez feat. Ja Rule - I'm Real  SOFT COPY
Jennifer Lopez - On the 6 (Album)
Jennifer Lopez - Let's Get Loud
Destiny's Child - Say My Name SOFT COPY

Videos:
Jennifer Lopez - The Reel Me (DVD+CD)

Not much on my Nostalgia Playlist but there will be probably more Music and Videos by the next update. I also considered using our Portable DVD player to play these stuff during our travels, that is, if I can still find it.

My Nostalgia Memories of CDO

So I'm going to blog today about my childhood memories in Cagayan de Oro and no, I did not live or go to school there during my childhood or even now. You see, my family used to go there when I was 4 or 5 to visit my relatives who used to live there before. Here are my most memorable nostalgia memories in Cagayan de Oro. Not in particular order though.

1. Lemon Tree Cafe (now Pyramid KTV Bar)

Childhood Memory: I still remembered eating here once with my relatives and there was this wishing well and my parents told us to make our wishes and while we were at it, one of my cousins saw some dude who probably works for the restaurant taking the money out from the well. It was probably almost closing time when we saw that happen.

2. Bump Cars in Limketkai Mall

Childhood Memory: I still remember seeing this part of Limketkai Mall back when I was 4 or 5 years old and I still remember asking my parents to let me ride those bump cars and they didn't allow me perhaps because they were concerned for my safety. I never got to ride those actually and I still remembered looking for this part of the mall when I was about 9 or 10 years old and at that time, the mall has already undergone remodeling and a lot has changed and the Bump Cars were no longer there, it was already replaced with an exhibition area.

3. Roller Skating Rink at Limketkai Mall

Childhood Memory: I still remember going there, well actually, I was just a spectator because at that time, I still didn't know how to rollerskate. When the mall got remodeled, this section of the mall got removed too and it was converted into a parking area, I think.

4. McDonalds Limketkai Branch (1st McDonalds in Cagayan de Oro)

Childhood Memory: We used to eat here everytime we go to CDO to visit our relatives and until now, we still eat here whenever we get the chance. Perhaps one of the only nostalgia structures in the Limketkai area that remained unchanged.

5. Ostriches in the Limketkai Complex
I don't have pictures of this but I still have memories of  watching the Ostriches in the Limketkai Complex back in my childhood though ever since Limketkai underwent their remodeling, the Ostriches have been moved to the Limketkai family's farm which is also in Cagayan de Oro. I don't know what at present is the area at Limketkai Complex where the Ostriches used to be is.

Day 5: I fear…

Another beautiful day and another entry for my 40-Day Challenge. I'm on the 5th day already.

Day 5: I fear...
I fear walking around the house alone during a brown out. Seriously, it gives me the creeps, I mean what if something scary happens? When a brown out happens, I never stay alone in another room, I always go where the rest of the members of my family are staying while waiting for the lights to come back.

So much for that, stay tuned for day 6 and beyond! :)

Day 4: I hate it when…

Welcome to the 4th post of my 40-Day Challenge. Click here if you missed the previous posts: http://futuremissawesomeness.blogspot.com/search/label/40-day%20challenge

Day 4: I hate it when...

I hate it when someone really pisses me off and when someone does that, I would really flip the bird on them the time I come across them. I also hate it when attention whores take the scene, as if the entire world would listen to them, NOT! Seriously, being an attention whore won't give you anything good, especially when it involves wrecking havoc and destroying the reputation of the people around you. IT DOESN'T WORK.

So much for that, stay tuned for day 5 of the 40-Day challenge and more.

Day 3: I feel like…

Day 3: I feel like...
I feel like wanting to do this to the those who pissed me off today:

I'm so freakin' pissed today. My day's a bit stressful especially when some bitches pulled an attention whore moment that sounded worse than that Kardashian wedding. Yep, they were worse than the fact that the Kardashians were being attention whores.

I won't be posting so much stuff in this post but instead, if you would like to read my rant to those bitches who pissed me off, (with a little message in it for all my readers) click here to read it: http://futuremissawesomeness.blogspot.com/2011/10/muchas-gracias-for-pissing-me-off.html

Day 2: Right now I want…

Right now, I want a Cafe Mocha from Missy Bon Bon

Yes, I'm craving for one right now. I'm craving for this:

I have tasted it before and yep, it was so freakin' yummy. Promise! The thing is, Missy Bon Bon is in Cagayan de Oro, I am in Butuan, CDO is 3 hours away. Like I only get to eat this like 4x in a year or something. I want MOOOAAAARRRR!

Can't wait for my next trip to CDO.

There’s Always A Rainbow After a Storm

So my day has been going well except that I didn’t make it to the top 10 of the class but it’s still okay, at least most of my grades increased and I only had two line of 8s and these line of 8s were all above 85. Still the usual, went to tutorials after class. The only thing is…our car was about to leave and a classmate of mine also hitched but yeah, our car went bonkers, it won’t start and I was like f**k! and so my classmate had to commute instead but I have no problem with that, the only thing I was concerned about at that time was that we might end up going home late because of it though again, it was not a super big deal but still, I was concerned. So for like 10 minutes, we were stuck there trying to figure out on how we’re supposed to start the car or something and we finally resorted to pushing the car to the concrete part of the road and 3 people who were with us and one guy who volunteered to help decided to push the car but it didn’t move that much so they had to ask help from a bunch of 3rd year students who were also waiting to be fetched and guess what…that cute guy was one of them and yeah, he and his companions helped push the car and when our car was already in the concrete part of the road, well, it didn’t start but luckily, one person who was with us had already called for help before our car got pushed to the concrete part of the road and help arrived around 5 minutes after and they decided to see what was wrong and yeah, it was something with the car batteries but good thing it was not some major problem and it only took them more or less 5 minutes to fix it and then we were able to start the car and of course, go home.

There’s this popular saying that goes: “There’s always a rainbow after the storm” and it’s pretty much true. Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation as Michael Jordan would say.
Anyways, so much for that, ‘till the next post.

Operation Awesome Friend Request...Success!

Remember the awesome friend request thing I talked about in my previous posts, guess what, it's a success! Jennifer (not her real name) just accepted me as a friend! She's one of the most awesome people in town, BTW. Since her first account was already full, I decided to add her through her second account and that's right! She accepted my friend request! Though I haven't met her in real life, (but I did meet a relative of hers briefly) I bet she's really a nice person. Another relative of hers is also a schoolmate of mine and well, he's a nice dude too, but I don't have a crush on him, though.

In fact, she kinda inspired me to join the local beauty pageant in our place by the time I turn 17 since the pageant happens every May and my birthday is on June so I can't join the pageant by the time i turn 16 since you're supposed to be 16 on the day of the pageant or something and I won't be turning another year old young until June and the age limit is from 16-25 so I might as well join the pageant after graduating from Pre-med or something.

So much about that, I still have to change this blog's theme again, maybe and then go to bed.

Britney Spears - Criminal (Music Video)

The music video for Criminal is already out! I have been waiting for this for a long time and I better start voting for this on MYX. To vote, text MYX(space)REQUEST(space)CRIMINAL & send to 2366. Here's the video and Enjoy!

Day One: I love…

Here's my first post on The 40-Day Challenge series. I'm gonna talk about what I love right now. Here it goes:

I Love Music. <3

I am a music lover, if you're lucky, you might see me rocking to Britney or TaySwift. I also play the piano by ear, but not all songs, really. I mainly use my phone for listening to music other than using it for communication purposes. Everyone's a music lover in their own way, whether it's loving Bieber's swag-filled songs or loving Mariah Carey's powerhouse vocals, either way, everyone's a music lover in their own right. I listen to music when I study, it makes me concentrate more for some reason. Even though some people call it a distraction while studying but for me and some other people who are in the same side of the coin, well, music is not really a distraction but more like an inspiration.

Day #1 complete! 39 more topics to talk about. Stay tuned!

The 40-day Challenge

So I found this on a classmate's blog and I was interested with it so I decided to give it a try. It goes like this:
There are forty unfinished sentences that we would have to finish and would somehow turn out as a topic for a post. These forty soon-to-be topics are supposed to be posted one topic for one day. So, you do the Math. Forty unfinished sentences equals forty topics equals forty days. We’re supposed to finish all of these to finish the challenge. I’ve decided I would start this tomorrow since I already have two posts and I limit my posts only till two per day, so as not to be too much. What I’m doing now is just introducing you to the challenge. I hope you, my readers, would somehow try doing this challenge too. I have a feeling this would be a fun challenge and I hope you stay with me till the end.
Anyways, now for the questions.
These are the total forty unfinished sentences I would have to finish by myself and somehow give OPLAs (one-page-long answers) to. If you want to take this challenge, please inform me so that I could somehow check out yours just as you’re checking mine out.

Blog Promotions (10/17/2011)

I’ve been a bit busy lately but not really that busy perhaps, to promote these blogs. Here they are:

http://thisismyblogdealwithit.wordpress.com

The blog itself is like some editorial out of a newspaper and my classmate and friend owns it. You’ll really enjoy looking back at her posts. Promise!

http://neilsteenagethoughts.wordpress.com

Another blog owned by a classmate and friend of mine, it’s also like some editorial out of the newspaper but it’s more of a journal-thingy, but still, the posts are interesting and not worth skipping.

http://trendsbyj.blogspot.com

A blog owned by a schoolmate of mine. A great blog for fashionistas out there. If you want to be updated with the latest trends, Trends By J is the right place for you!

Well, that’s all for now.

So I fell in love with this song called Pangarap Lang Kita by Parokya Ni Edgar featuring Happee Sy. Well, first of all, I can relate to the song and everything, you see, my crush and I haven't noticed each other that much or did he ever know that I like him or did I ever know that he likes me. I'm not saying he's mine okay, what I mean is, wouldn't it be nicer if your crush noticed you and of course, that's something normal for people who have crushes or are in love. For now, pangarap ko lang siya, for now, we'll just see each other in my dreams or something. BTW, here's the song:

The Awesome Friend Request Happens Today

Remember that thing I mentioned in my previous post, about sending a friend request to an awesome person on Facebook, well…It’s gonna happen today, after classes & tutorials actually. I’m so freakin’ excited. Other than that, my relatives from Batangas are coming over tomorrow, this is only their second time going to our place, I just hope they don’t judge it as boring.

Right now, I’m in my classroom, finishing off this post before going home to eat lunch.

2 more days ‘till the President comes to our school. Gotta be ready!

I <3 You Tomorrow & Other Updates

Tomorrow’s Friday & I’m excited. Well, first ‘coz it’s the last day of school before the weekends come and of course because I’m going to add someone awesome on FB bukas. I hope she accepts my friend request.

Guess what! President Noynoy Aquino is coming to town this Monday and he’s dropping by our school, I have to freakin’ bring my camera and get a photo-op. Im soooo freakin’ excited!!!

Update #3. Blind item na ito.

There’s this bitch in school who picked up a fight with my classmate, from how the situation looks like, either she’s insecure with my classmate’s looks or she’s a plain oral defamer. If I had the chance to speak to that bitch face to face, I might embarrass her or something or if I got enough swag, I might punch her ala Sara Duterte. Who is she to defame someone who didn’t even pick a fight with her to start with. May nagtanong ba sa kanya?

I also heard that she’s a hypocrite and she also got a trip to the prinicpal’s office which was the result of her hypocrisy. Too bad for her.

So much for that, I still have to do some homework and of course, get that well-deserved beauty rest.

‘Till the next post

Walang Pasok. Yeaaahhh!

As usual, I woke up early, went to school and waited for classes to start, it was, of course like any other school day until one of my classmates (or schoolmates, I think) announced that classes have been suspended, I was like, shouldn’t they have suspended it yesterday, I mean Signal #1 kami kahapon and the skies were dark and heavy rains were taking place, in fact, it was so freakin’ cold and windy that you really have to wear a jacket. Eh ngayon, the skies are still kinda gray ngunit the sun has shined and it’s not that windy compared to yesterday and it isn’t even raining though a news report said that the storm signal which was Signal #1 kahapon would be raised to Signal #2 at 10 A.M., perhaps that was why our classes were suspended. To tell you, I had to wake up so freakin’ early just to go to school only to find out that they just suspended classes, they should have made the announcement yesterday in the evening instead if the the typhoon would really end up having signal #2 in our area. But still, I view suspension of classes in a positive way. (at least I get to do what I want for a little while)

Where should the Femme Fatale Tour Concert be held in the Philippines?

We all know that the only Asian stop of the Femme Fatale tour (as of now) is in Abu Dhabi, Saudi Arabia. While waiting for Team Britney to make an announcement whether Philippines will also deserve a place in the tour dates, I cooked up a poll about which place in the Philippines should the Femme Fatale Tour Concert be held in. To vote, just click this link: https://sites.google.com/site/charmenchantix3/polls/where-should-the-femme-fatale-tour-concert-be-held-in-the-philippines

New Background & Updates.

If you guys have noticed, I've changed my background again. This time, it's Bloom from Winx Club in her Enchantix form. You see, I'm a fan of Winx Club since Grade School. It's one of the best TV shows I've seen so far and being somewhat a PotterHead, I can also relate with Winx Club since both kinda have the same storylines.

In fact, I am still watching Winx Club 2: Magical Adventure and I'm going to upload a half-baked version of the opening scene. (you know half-baked, where Scarface quitted his job, yeah, that's what I mean)

Steve Jobs Passed Away...:(

Yes, Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, he passed away last October 5, 2011. The last time I heard him on the news was on the unveiling event for the iPhone 4GS and that was the first unveiling event where he wasn't present after he stepped down as CEO of Apple. My heart goes out for his family and the people who were there for him throughout his life. He was one of the most influential people out there, he was one of the reasons why our world is continuously progressing up to this day. He was the man behind the iPod that i listened to when I was graduating from grade school, mom's iPhone that I played with whenever I was bored and it was
the only fun thing I could reach to, our iPad that gave me the fun moments from having Tap Tap Revenge duels with my classmates to playing Angry Birds or Fruit Ninja at home when I was not using the computer and having my free time at the same time. He's also the man who was given the chance by his biological parents to live despite of the fact that his biological parents were perhaps, too young to raise him or didn't have enough money to provide his needs at that time he was born. He truly had a life worth living. He will always be remembered.

Basketball Ring (from below)

"Basketball Ring (from below)"

This was a random photo I took weeks ago using a DSLR. (Nikon D90) This photo reminds me of a lot of things, especially that cute guy I mentioned in my previous posts. You see, he plays basketball and he's also the one who encouraged me to join next year's intramurals. I'm not really that athletic, BTW.
