My Nostalgia Playlist [UPDATE 1]

Here's my Nostalgia Playlist. Both Videos & Music from the Late 90s are on the list. Music/Videos which are already crossed out from the list means I already have them. (either it's soft copy or hard copy)

Music:
Jennifer Lopez - If You Had My Love SOFT COPY
Jennifer Lopez feat. Ja Rule - I'm Real  SOFT COPY
Jennifer Lopez - On the 6 (Album)
Jennifer Lopez - Let's Get Loud
Destiny's Child - Say My Name SOFT COPY

Videos:
Jennifer Lopez - The Reel Me (DVD+CD)

Not much on my Nostalgia Playlist but there will be probably more Music and Videos by the next update. I also considered using our Portable DVD player to play these stuff during our travels, that is, if I can still find it.

My Nostalgia Memories of CDO

So I'm going to blog today about my childhood memories in Cagayan de Oro and no, I did not live or go to school there during my childhood or even now. You see, my family used to go there when I was 4 or 5 to visit my relatives who used to live there before. Here are my most memorable nostalgia memories in Cagayan de Oro. Not in particular order though.

1. Lemon Tree Cafe (now Pyramid KTV Bar)

Childhood Memory: I still remembered eating here once with my relatives and there was this wishing well and my parents told us to make our wishes and while we were at it, one of my cousins saw some dude who probably works for the restaurant taking the money out from the well. It was probably almost closing time when we saw that happen.

2. Bump Cars in Limketkai Mall

Childhood Memory: I still remember seeing this part of Limketkai Mall back when I was 4 or 5 years old and I still remember asking my parents to let me ride those bump cars and they didn't allow me perhaps because they were concerned for my safety. I never got to ride those actually and I still remembered looking for this part of the mall when I was about 9 or 10 years old and at that time, the mall has already undergone remodeling and a lot has changed and the Bump Cars were no longer there, it was already replaced with an exhibition area.

3. Roller Skating Rink at Limketkai Mall

Childhood Memory: I still remember going there, well actually, I was just a spectator because at that time, I still didn't know how to rollerskate. When the mall got remodeled, this section of the mall got removed too and it was converted into a parking area, I think.

4. McDonalds Limketkai Branch (1st McDonalds in Cagayan de Oro)

Childhood Memory: We used to eat here everytime we go to CDO to visit our relatives and until now, we still eat here whenever we get the chance. Perhaps one of the only nostalgia structures in the Limketkai area that remained unchanged.

5. Ostriches in the Limketkai Complex
I don't have pictures of this but I still have memories of  watching the Ostriches in the Limketkai Complex back in my childhood though ever since Limketkai underwent their remodeling, the Ostriches have been moved to the Limketkai family's farm which is also in Cagayan de Oro. I don't know what at present is the area at Limketkai Complex where the Ostriches used to be is.

Day 5: I fear…

Another beautiful day and another entry for my 40-Day Challenge. I'm on the 5th day already.

Day 5: I fear...
I fear walking around the house alone during a brown out. Seriously, it gives me the creeps, I mean what if something scary happens? When a brown out happens, I never stay alone in another room, I always go where the rest of the members of my family are staying while waiting for the lights to come back.

So much for that, stay tuned for day 6 and beyond! :)

Day 4: I hate it when…

Welcome to the 4th post of my 40-Day Challenge. Click here if you missed the previous posts: http://futuremissawesomeness.blogspot.com/search/label/40-day%20challenge

Day 4: I hate it when...

I hate it when someone really pisses me off and when someone does that, I would really flip the bird on them the time I come across them. I also hate it when attention whores take the scene, as if the entire world would listen to them, NOT! Seriously, being an attention whore won't give you anything good, especially when it involves wrecking havoc and destroying the reputation of the people around you. IT DOESN'T WORK.

So much for that, stay tuned for day 5 of the 40-Day challenge and more.

Day 3: I feel like…

Day 3: I feel like...
I feel like wanting to do this to the those who pissed me off today:

I'm so freakin' pissed today. My day's a bit stressful especially when some bitches pulled an attention whore moment that sounded worse than that Kardashian wedding. Yep, they were worse than the fact that the Kardashians were being attention whores.

I won't be posting so much stuff in this post but instead, if you would like to read my rant to those bitches who pissed me off, (with a little message in it for all my readers) click here to read it: http://futuremissawesomeness.blogspot.com/2011/10/muchas-gracias-for-pissing-me-off.html

Day 2: Right now I want…

Right now, I want a Cafe Mocha from Missy Bon Bon

Yes, I'm craving for one right now. I'm craving for this:

I have tasted it before and yep, it was so freakin' yummy. Promise! The thing is, Missy Bon Bon is in Cagayan de Oro, I am in Butuan, CDO is 3 hours away. Like I only get to eat this like 4x in a year or something. I want MOOOAAAARRRR!

Can't wait for my next trip to CDO.

There’s Always A Rainbow After a Storm

So my day has been going well except that I didn’t make it to the top 10 of the class but it’s still okay, at least most of my grades increased and I only had two line of 8s and these line of 8s were all above 85. Still the usual, went to tutorials after class. The only thing is…our car was about to leave and a classmate of mine also hitched but yeah, our car went bonkers, it won’t start and I was like f**k! and so my classmate had to commute instead but I have no problem with that, the only thing I was concerned about at that time was that we might end up going home late because of it though again, it was not a super big deal but still, I was concerned. So for like 10 minutes, we were stuck there trying to figure out on how we’re supposed to start the car or something and we finally resorted to pushing the car to the concrete part of the road and 3 people who were with us and one guy who volunteered to help decided to push the car but it didn’t move that much so they had to ask help from a bunch of 3rd year students who were also waiting to be fetched and guess what…that cute guy was one of them and yeah, he and his companions helped push the car and when our car was already in the concrete part of the road, well, it didn’t start but luckily, one person who was with us had already called for help before our car got pushed to the concrete part of the road and help arrived around 5 minutes after and they decided to see what was wrong and yeah, it was something with the car batteries but good thing it was not some major problem and it only took them more or less 5 minutes to fix it and then we were able to start the car and of course, go home.

There’s this popular saying that goes: “There’s always a rainbow after the storm” and it’s pretty much true. Always turn a negative situation into a positive situation as Michael Jordan would say.
Anyways, so much for that, ‘till the next post.
